Biography

Alicia Rackett is an award-winning creative producer and co-founder of Hobart based animation studio, Blue Rocket Productions. Alicia brings more than 20 years of experience as a producer of digital content, both broadcast and interactive. She has wide experience and high-level skills in all aspects of 'hands-on' creative producing and executive producing, working with co-production partners (domestically and internationally) and remote production studios.

She is currently in pre-production on her 19th animated series, co-producing with Beyond Entertainment and Pigmental Studios (US). Most recently, Alicia produced Fanshaw & Crudnut, a kids' animated telemovie and series (Nine Network) and was co-producer on Little J and Big Cuz, an animated series produced by Ned Lander (NITV).

Alicia's interactive and multi-platform credits include award winning websites for kids, mobile series and online extensions to leading Australian television drama series. Alicia was a finalist in the 2016 Telstra Tasmanian Business Women's Awards (Entrepreneur category) and holds a Graduate Diploma in Screen Business (AFTRS) and a Bachelor of Built Environment (Landscape Architecture) from QUT.
